Post Production 2 Opening Credits

I have found new opening credits that you can read and that actually make sense. I think that everyone will like the new one I have added. The jump cuts are still a work in progress and I plan on fixing and finishing them tonight. Overall, I am very proud of how this is coming out. Coming into this school year I thought this was going to be a breeze but boy was I wrong. I honestly don't want this project to end though, I am having a bunch of fun with it. Now that I am off of my soap box, I will hopefully be ready to post my final draft by the beginning of next week.

Post Production 1 Audio and Transitions

What a week it's been. Since the last time I wrote, I have completed changing the audio levels of the scene with the boy so that you can now clearly understand him. I am going to find some new opening credits because in my opinion, it's very hard to read and I just picked the first one I say and went with it when I should have taken my time to figure out what I wanted. Another thing that I am trying to work on is how to make the jump cuts of the fouls more smooth. I think if I use some video transitions in the folder provided in Premiere Pro or if I am going to use the razor blade to just make it quicker more efficient cuts. I don't know exactly what I am going to do but these are some ideas flowing out of my head while I am typing.

Peer Review

Wow! I did not expect my film to go as well as it did with my class. Of course it wasn't perfect but that's ok. There were two things that stood out to the audience about my film. The first is that the audio level on the boy was way too low. So, I need to fix that and raise it so that you can understand what he is saying. The other thing was how far away I was from the court. Obviously I can't be on the court with the referees getting the shots and you need to have special permission from the school to sit courtside and film and I wasn't able to get that permission. So, unfortunately it will have to stay that way. I do think there are a bit of tweaks I can make with my edits to make it look better. So with that being said, that's going to be my main focus for this week.

Production 6 - Finalizing

It's crunch time baby! We have exactly one week before this is due. I am pumped honestly, not only for how mine is going to turn out but also to see how everyone else is doing. I definitely feel really confident though, I am very proud of what I came out with and think that I did pretty well. I am thankful for all the resources and workshops we were provided in class so that we were set to succeed. As I said, I am very excited see how this turn out.
